Sydney Metro North West, City & South West

Sydney Metro is Australia’s biggest public transport project.

This new standalone railway will deliver thirty-one (31) metro stations and more than sixty-six (66) kilometres of new metro rail, revolutionising the way Australia’s biggest city travels.

Scope :

In delivering the services for its client Transport for NSW, CWG:

  • Provided Safety and System Assurance advisory services at the interface between Sydney Metro and Sydney Trains for the Sydney Metro North West and Sydney Metro City & South West work packages
  • Managed the Configuration Change Board (CCB) process across multiple organisations.
  • Actively collaborated, consulted and engaged Sydney Trains, Sydney Metro, the Independent Certifier plus a number of third party Design & Construct teams to ensure that changes were approved in line with the schedule and project requirements
  • Coached, recommended and advised the customer’s team of CCB process improvement areas which has resulted in a more effective and efficient execution of the process for the remainder of the project.
